Help with defeating Barrett
I have trouble defeating the first boss! I don't seem to be able to hurt him with my ordinary guns, do i need a special weapon or perk to defeat him? He is, somehow, also able to take half of my health before i even find cover. Is it just because im very bad, or is there something i've missed? Please help me D:

if you have the cloaking augmentation, try that, and run in one of the 2 storage units.

take cover there... and wait..
if you want to.. you can throw from there a emp, a few frags... and then run like hell to the other unit...

in the end, he will kill himself.
You're a great man
for your second boss (try your stun gun(atleast 20 ammo)
Okay, i'll keep it in mind. I'm not very good at the game, so i try not to fight. Can you tell me were i can optain Stun Gun ammunition?
Stun gun ammo is scattered throughout the level and can be purchsed from the merchants too , dont worry by the time you reach the second boss you will come across traders in HENGSHA , DETROIT buy it from them if you are too lazy to scout a level.
Thank you. You are magnificient people
when i first faced him i used the EMP grenade and stun gunned him to death (stun gun is without a doubt my favourite weapon its AMAZING!!)
If you have the lift/throw heavy objects aug you can throw the poison gas and explosive barrels at barret...
Throw fire extinguishers and barrels at him. It should only take a few to kill him.
I had trouble with him to. I tried to run away but he just did´nt care about me hiding. So what i did was throw an emp grenade and shoot him with severeal headshots and that worked. Used the combat rifle.
The upgraded pistol, with shots to the head, works very nice
Flash bangs and a silence pistol with repeated shots to his head work. Stun him pop out from behind your hiding place shoot him in the head, move to a new hiding place then rinse and repeat untill he's dead.
Definitely agree with head shot followed by run and hide. Incidentally did anyone else find these boss fights really out of place and not at all in the spirit of the rest of the gameplay?

Almost everyone does. Eidos outsourced those boss fights. If you play the Missing Link, you'll find that boss to be much more in line with the gameplay and the boss fights of the original Deus Ex. Eidos did that boss in-house in response to player comments about the main game bosses.
