The two smaller DLCs add some credits & unique weapons. One of them adds a short bonus mission to the main game. I find them fun, but really, you can take it or leave it. Doesn't change the game one way or the other, for the most part.

The bigger DLC, the Missing Link, is very much worth getting, IMO. It will not integrate to the main game (you'll play it separately), but it fits into a time slot in the main game where Jensen is "off the grid" for a few days. It's maybe 5-10 hours of gameplay depending on your style. I like this DLC because you get to experience a new environment not found in the main game, and since Eidos did not outsource anything, the Missing Link's boss battle is quite a bit more flexible than the main game (which addressed one of the major complaints a lot of people had).

Overall, you can play the game just fine without TML, but it does add to the story, and it has a very good environmental feel to it. I would recommend it.

I was gifted the main game and the two small DLCs, so I will probably end up getting TML, thanks.

If you're interested, I am trying to trade away copies of the Deus Ex DLC. I have Explosive Missions and Tactical Enhancement packs ($5 retail) and I'd be willing to get a MTG 2013 Deck Pack One or Two (Only $3) for both Deus Ex DLC.

Just throwing that out there
