Question about the dx:hr, missing link, director's cut situation.

Now I am playing deus ex: human rfevolution and I feel guilty that I havent tried it before. It is brilliant. My problem is that someday I'd like to try the missing link dlc, but now it exists only in the director's cut version. So my question is: will I be able to use my savegames If I buy the directors cut, or I will be forced to start over the whole game again?

Unfortunately for you the save games will not transfer over, and niether will any of your achievements. So if you do buy the Director's Cut you will have to start the whole game from scratch.

You might want to check other stores - as some still appear to be selling the Missing Link DLC. For instance, it's still apparently being sold by GMG:

And it can be activated on steam? This misery with the versions is just ridiculios.. Other publishers usually give out a "GOTY" upgrade and thats it..

Yes, as it's a Steamworks product/game it requires Steam - thus it doesn't matter where you buy a CD-Key for Missing Link from, it will activate on Steam.
