Help please: selected lower resolution but it's not fullscreen
Hi all,

I have a 1920x1080p laptop with AMD 8770 with switchable graphics. I have had DE:HR for some time now but only jsut got round to playing it. When I went to play, it asked me to setup first. I chose 1366x768, left everything on medium and selceted "fullscreen".

When the game loads, it is fullscreen, but it doesn't take up the whole of the screen. Its like a movie with black bars around the bottom and sides.

All other games I have played, when you select a lower resolution and fullscreen, it actually changes your monitor to that lower resolution so that the game still takes up the whole area.

Now I am playing a game which runs smoothly but is very small. Not the experience I am looking for.

Can anyone help? Seen this before? got fix suggestions.

Would be very appreciated

Regards

Because the game shows the resolution : 1366x768, if they stretch it, the quality of the graphics wouldn't be maximum with that resolution. So that's why it is cropped smaller, so there isn't much quality lost

ok, I understand what you are saying, but it just seems odd. ALL other games I have ever played have stretched to actually take up the whole screen area when you set them to any resolution below the monitors native resolution. Why doe DE:HR have to be different?
