Deus Ex is broken

I am 20 hours into the game and i got a gaming pc, so i downloaded the directors cut to play and it refuses to launch. So then i downloaded the regular version to play and the same crash occurs again and again. Any solutions?

I cant even start it, it just crashes immediately. I think the steam client is messing it up. I pirated the game to play and i put the pirated files into steam and the same error occurred(The pirated copy worked before i put it into the steam library folder)

I have this problem too. I recently downloaded the game from Steam and I can't even launch it. A window appears saying "Deus Ex has stopped working".
If you know any solution please, speak to me.

I sometimes get this on games where my anti-virus puts the game into a sandbox on first use as it doesn't recognise it, check to make sure your antivirus isn't doing this and if it has just move the games .exe to your truste d/safe files list.

I have same problem and its not antivirus (.exe wasn't move). Driver and game are updated and optimalizatet too.
