Is full stealth even an option?
I don't know who thought it was a smart idea to give a super human type of guy energy bars that determine the amount of times he can quietly take someone out. Its one of the dumbest things I've ever come across. Made me play the game for like 5 hours and never try it again

First of all, "full" stealth means you wouldn't even bother taking anyone out, you would just be sneaking past them.

And, yes "full" stealth is a viable option, as is going around knocking people out. As is pretty much any playstyle.

I've beaten the game with:
-No kills/knockouts
-No detections/alarms
-No augmentations
-No weapons/items used outside of boss battles

And that was all on a single playthrough. If that is a viable playstyle option, anything is.

Of course it is. I'm doing it right now and so far so good. I have almost reached Eliza.

Sorry to burst your bubble but with the forced option of killing bosses and the fact that saving the pilot requires at-least knock outs meaning you failed to save her in that run leaves it most unimpressive. Simply quick saving and loading to sneak around is hardly a thing to toot your own horn about anyhow.

I don't count the boss battles. Neither do the developers; they were outsourced to another studio, and after the game was released, the guys at the main studio said they agreed that the boss battles were terribly out of place in the game.

It's perfectly possible to save Malik using only knock-outs, though I admit it did take a few tries, simply because of a few random deaths due to falling or other environmental hazards. Saving Malik wasn't the hard part, it was saving all the people who were trying to kill her.

You are correct, however, that I misstated some accomplishments: I did have to use EMP grenades to take out mechs in a few places, including saving Malik. I forgot about that.

As for save scumming, that's also completely unnecessary. I simply have a lot of experience with and skill at stealth games.

I don't claim to be a particularly skilled gamer. I just have a different set of gaming skills than most, and that includes an aptitude for stealth games. I freely admit to being much worse at straight-up action; I've never even bothered trying to do an 'augmented killing machine' playthrough, because I know I would suck at it -- I don't even have the achievement for upgrading a weapon, because I've never bothered using a weapon that can be upgraded.

LOL I didn't know if killing robots would be counted as a kill so I haven't killed any of them. This info helps :D

Well it's not a "kill" for unanimated objects like robots, they aren't "alive" :D

You dont even need to kill robots, as far as I know, they are all connected to security hubs, so just get the right augmentations and you can hack them.

I've done several "full stealth" runs without even having the cloak upgrade. You just need to take more time with it. In my experience having just one cell of cloak energy is adequate for any situation in the game, and the first cell recharges by itself. I never increase the number of energy cells for exactly the reason you describe.

I don't want to be wasting my game scrounging for candy bars.
