Question about the Director's Cut
Hello, a 1 and half of years ago I bought the Deus Ex Human Revolution through the Steam Store. Along with it, I bought the extra DLCs: Explosive Mission Pack, Tactical Enhancement Pack and the stand alone DLC: The Missing Link.
But as of some months I noticed that all of the above DLCs have been removed from the Steam Store and now only Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut exists.

So, since Steam let's me actually rebuy the game for myself now called DE:HR Director's Cut, the question is: What extra does the Director's Cut offer? Since there are no other DLCs for the main game in the Store, are the DLCs included in the Director's Cut ? And if yes, why does my version of the game, in my Library haven't been renamed? If no, and Director's Cut only has the game's art and music as a bonus to add, where did the DLCs go from the Store?

If anyone can clarify that would be awesome. Thanks.

Wouldn't mind an answer as well actually, since I was just looking into this today.

The director's cut is a port of the Wii-U version. It has all the DLC integrated into the main storyline, and a few gameplay changes, most notably overhauled boss battles with new options for non-combat focused characters.

So basically a patch. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the clarification, but a Wii-U port to PC? Are they serious? I bet the graphics are downgraded in the Director's Cut edition. Thanks but no, I'll stick with the PC version of the game.

I wouldn't say the graphics were downgraded, more "sidegraded." The lighting looks a lot different, whether it's worse or not is subjective.

The DC does have some significant texture errors however. And the DLC weapons and hacking tools are pretty much cheat items. I much prefer the original game.

So basically the ones paid full price for the game when it came out have been shafted in a sense? People can now get it for $5 and have everything we basiaclly didn't get? Hummm sounds kinda wacked to me.

Well,if it's that the case, I am not "upgrading" to the DC edition either. What's the point in downgrading my game's graphics and gameplay for the sole purpose of 4 random cards that none of them wouldn't be at least foil.

Game content editing at it's best, rewrite game history incrementally :)

I have the best idea in the gaming industry. How about every company out there start porting every game to PC from the WiiU edition? That would work for bringing the most possible glitches and lowest graphics for PC users... That would show those PC master race some manners...

Nope.
