The Missing Link is integrated into the game rather than being a separate executable, the boss battles have been tweaked to make them easier for non-combat-focused characters, and it's a direct port of the Wii-U version so the graphics are slightly worse.

Are the graphics worse in director's cut than the normal DXHR ?

I didn't care for the Director's Cut at all. The graphical improvements had potential, but they were pretty messy with shadowing problems and excessive brightness. And they integrated the DLC.

To this day, there is no DLC in any game that I've found to be worthwhile. In just about every case, they deviate from the thrust of the original content, often they are trivial or gimmicky, and even more often they simply introduce puerile "adult" content and themes (Borderlands, I'm looking at you).

The DLC to Human Revolution are no exception. I won't ever be buying a DLC in any game ever, going forward. I relented on my vow with Amalur: Reckoning because the price was so trivial, and ended up regretting it yet again. I knew when I clicked the "buy" button I had just made a mistake, and it was a huge one. There's no way to disable them, so the game is shelfware now, and it could have been fun.

As for me, I'm finished with DLC of any sort, in any game, ever again. I bought and played all the flavors of DE:HR, but I have only the original vanilla version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution installed right now, and as far as I'm concerned that's the only legitimate DE:HR.

You pay more to get worse graphics and something that should've been in the game from the get-go (non-violent solutions to boss fights)? I'm glad I didn't pick the DC.
