Don't buy this stuttering pile of crap!

I wish I did more research on director's cut before buying it. It stutters more than Porky Pig. I can't make ten ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ steps without some kind of stuttering. It stutters so much it will give you Parkinson's just by trying to play it! I tried all the fixes I could find and they did nothing. This release is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insulting!

I don't have ay problems with it, myself. My only problem is hacking in the game so, I quit playing it.

Some people (majority?) have massive stuttering problems and others have none. I wonder what's the deciding factor.

@illgib Nope, the random lag is the biggest reason I haven't played the game anymore. I thought an SSD would help but even lowering the quality settings dramatically I still get random slowdowns

What are you talking about? Both me and HunterKiller have this game in Steam library which you can check

Yeah, I even ran it 800x600 with everything off - zero improvement. I tried both registry tweaks, disabling triple buffering, alt-tabing, defragging drive, lowering system clock to 0.5ms and many more. It's like they deliberately hardcoded it. I've also read that this wasn't an issue in standard edition so WTF Eidos?!

I think Steam considers the Directors Cut version a different game, with a different hub, which is why it doesn`t show up as him owning HR.
