I made a huge mistake
When Haas didn't let me into the morgue, I did something stupid. I decided to take the violent route instead of being sneaky. I killed most of the guards to get to the body. I have no saves from before killing the guards. Whenever I try to leave the building, even if the remaining living guards are no longer alarmed, the cops outside kill me, and I don't stand a chance against them. Is there any way to resolve this issue? Or will I have to download somebody else's save file(which I really don't want to do)?

Part of Deus Ex is living through choices - there's no wrong way to do it. You can absolutely kil the guards outside. Just be crafty and sneaky, using anything you can to survive.

What I would recommend is taking healing items before you leave, then sprint to a safe location outside from which you can knock out/kill the guards.

Or, use the sewer entrance/upper vent entrance to escape.

Sewer enterance/vent access is probably the safest action you can do.

Even if Haas lets you get into the morgue, there's probably atleast one cop I would still knockout/kill and that would be the one guarding the armoury. A little birdy told me he's new and only got the job because of his connections anyway... He has it coming. ;)

lol, take down the whole city then stand on a pile of corpses yelling: I WON! I'd keep on the track you started, killing that is.

There are 3 ways in and out of there. One directly to the sewer. The alarm status will die down eventually. Find a safe hiding spot and then go eat dinner or something and when you come back hopefully all is cool. You might have to kill the last witness and/or shoot the security cams. I literally killed everyone on the 3rd floor and the basement no problem. Only that big wide open room is left.

Thanks for the advice, guys. I found the back door and waited for a bit, then the cops were all friendly to me.
