Tranqualizer gun goes lethal
I am trying make a pacifist run and I've stumbled upon a weird thing that tranqualizer gun kills some targets. Shots have been made to the back to two thugs. The one who gets hit first, always dies, the second gets knocked out. Does anyone know why?

It's a glitch. The tranq rifle will often kill a target if you get a headshot, and occasionally in other situations as well. If you want a pacifist run, you're better off sticking to non-lethal takedowns (or better still, doing a no-contact run).
I beleive the stun gun dosen't have this issue. So If I were you I'd just stick with it.
Honestly I think pacifist is a really stupid achievement, especially considering this issue exists, but also because you have to kill the bosses.
If I were you, and I actually wanted to do a pacifist run for whatever reason, I would just go ahead and find a pacifist save file for your version of the game and download it. Then, play through the game using whatever nonlethal means you want. Why should you have to dance around a glitch? When you get to the end, if the game didn't give you the pacifist achievement, go ahead and throw the save file you downloaded into your savegame folder and load it up.

I remember during the second visit to Hengsha, I had an issue where when I neutralized the Harvester heavies, they would want to sink into the ground. It didn't matter whether I used takedowns, the stun gun, or the tranq gun. It didn't matter whether they were on the street, or I dragged them onto a sidewalk, or threw them onto a desk or parked car. Wherever they landed, they would sink into it, and sometimes they would sink so far down they would completely disappear and become unlootable.
This was a major problem because even though I wanted to kill them (they are Harvesters, after all), neutralizing them nonlethally first is pretty much the only way to deal with them without alerting other nearby enemies. But good luck killing them when they keep getting swallowed by the terrain!
But assuming you DID manage to kill them before they sunk completely into the ground, then the sinking behavior would cease and they'd lay on the ground normally.
Honestly, and this might just be me, but it feels like a situation where you may like playing like X(example, mage character in an RPG) but you require Y(Melee skills or some kind of up-front skills to, say, counter other mage abilities... So basically Dark Souls 'tactics' being an example). When I thought about the pacifist achievement, I actually had trouble with the first boss because your character is simply weak and unless I wasn't doing it correctly, you couldn't maneuver around easily or knock the boss back other than the barrels which actually didn't do much. Imagine a pacifist run. I mean, really? Would you even carry lethal weapons? I actually rememb that I was going mostly non-lethal up until that point. I just cracked. I went full-lethal from then on because it was easier to just gun everyone down.

So, really, you'd have to try VERY hard. It's not even an issue of being a glitch or not. There's non-glitch issues that pop up once in a while, that I personally noticed.
well, I managed to finish pacifist/foxiest playthrough on "give me deus ex". It wasn't really hard and I didn't use tranq. I used stun gun instead and it helped. The only place where I would have prefered tranq was rescuing Malik from ambush. But even then after a couple of times I've been able to takedown/shock everyone. I've had the only lethal weapon for bosses: fully upgraded 10mm pistol.
foxiest and pacifist are broken anyway, i also didnt get them
