Fullscreen Mode Stretched

If I play the game fullscreen with a 16:9 aspect ratio (e.g. a 1920 x 1080 resolution), the game just stretches everything out for me. Has anyone else had this issue, and is there some type of fix?

I don't believe so, I recall reading something about it on the Egosoft forums. It's a hard limitation 16:9 monitors weren't big back then or something like that. X3: The Reunion should be much better. (Sorry for the late reply)
