Epic games for example can only give promises that they can open the source code of their old games like UT99. They not support his own game and dont want to share source code.
Respect to Valve and respect to ex id Software.
i'm at 3600x1600 and it's unplayable
while real HL1 works just fine
1. Learn what is FOV first.
2. 70 FOV is real problem, like in Borderlands 1. 90 FOV is ok.
3. Change your resolution and set correct proportions or do not sit to close to monitor at least. And next time try to not play on monitor which not designed for gaming. It is very easy.
90 fov is ok only when you go back to your stack of hay after you milked your cow
i play at 110 minimum but prefer 120-150, a played 100 minimum when i used 17" 5:4 or 21" 4:3 screens. now i'm on UWS which is ((( W I D E R )))
my resolution and aspect ratio are pixel perfect, if you are scrub you can go sit so far up your own posterior that you'll have 3cm of angular screen size. i use whole 40" of my screen with great angular size and physical field of view
hl1 works perfectly with whatever fov i will choose, hl2 being mentally challenged will allow custom fov after sv_cheats 1, hls is capped at 90. any capping of fov is a crime against humanity
take your flinstones granite slab which you use for games and go home to your pet dinosaur, while people play on >>current year hardware
Sorry, i am not even trying arguing with you. You complete idiot. ♥♥♥♥♥♥, played on 9:4 aspect ratio monitor designed for work with slow 16 ms display at a distance of 5 cm from the screen, and talking about modern hardware :D This is hilarious.
it has totally different lens curvature
second, who said it is noticeable? it's 40" unlike your barbie-size
third, you are just chellenged
fourth, you are challenged up beyond recognition, i play at 60hz; it's 8ms; it's not "for work" and you just said that below 16ms is only for competitive or few hearts hearts hearts hearts who play it in single
you can't argue because you don't (and can't) have any arguments, since you are amateur incompetent bom-bramzeiled angry slav kid who can't afford hardware
You right there. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, who playing at a distance of 5 cm from the 40" screen didnt notice fish eye effect. You idiot - proved.
My barbie-size? LOL! This is really fun to read. Are you Nostradamus? Or you just have serious complexes with size things? This is basic psychology. I am sorry for you little .i.
You have complexes - proved. Also learn at least basic english grammar.
Wow, if i said that - you really blind or really stupid. You blind idiot with complexes - proved.
Wow, S. Freud would be surprised you! Typical russian blind idiot with serious complexes and very poorly english. Sorry for Valve for that they are not rewrite their whole game for one blind ♥♥♥♥♥♥ who want to play it on 5 cm distance from the 40" screen. Now you can GTFO, trash russian talker.
This one is finished, bring on the next one.
Valve DID fix the bugs in HL:S. Quite a few patches for the game. I've NOT experienced one of the bugs mentioned in the forums. Not one.
I wish Black Mesa would get finished already. Seriously. I downloaded the mod years ago when it was just on Moddb and it was fantastic. Now, it's been on Steam for at least, what? Two years now? And it's still not finished.
