Sale anytime soon?
I've noticed this is one of the few games that never goes on sale.

I don't think the developer exists any more.

Who gets the money from sales then?

Turns out the developer does still exist. They're just disavowing that this game actually exists, and they've moved on to making cheap, easily microtransacted iOS and Android games.
I was hoping to get it during summer sale. But no sale =no buy

Really? I thought it was really good, and well worth the 10 dollar price tag. You just have to have a high tolerance for rhythm games.

It's mostly because of the game being made in 2009.

Old game could have surprise sales at ANY time, and i have plenty of games to play, so this is why i hesitate to pay full price for it.

Why it never get sales? The devs don't seems to care about it, don't seem to care about getting some sales with a lower price.

You can always tell what games have been abandoned: they're the ones that don't even get a token discount during the Summer and Winter sales.

Dunno if the devs went bankrupt, most game with dev being bankrupt tend to not go on sale.
Sure, maybe it doesn't go on sale. But really, to me, it was well worth the value-for-money. So much enjoyment. I got it when it was $15USD in 2009 when it first came out and since then have played it for 72 hours. Seventy-two hours spent on a level-based rhythm game that has 15 levels. Hell, I played it earlier today which was what made me go looking for the forums. I super recommend it if you're into rhythm games. Even if you're not, maybe you'll grow to like it. It's good.

Get the demo. You can beat the whole game and get the Steam achievements while your at it. Just don't exit until your done.

The demo only had a tutorial and the first 3 levels (Beach/Ocean World) but you could play as much as you like and quitting wasn't an issue.
EDIT: Unless the demo is different now from when I played the demo back in 2009.

"Congrats on getting all 3 gruvs in Level 1! You may now speak like a pirate. AYE-AYE, MATEY!" Is one of my four achievements. I did play past the first world.

This game was the first game I 100%'d in achievements. I did almost everything I could possibly do because I really liked it. I remember they were in the middle of updating the game so that it would have a world leaderboard on the dev's site and then... they just disappeared, but as mentioned above, they moved on to developing mobile games, even made a Mevo for iOS and I bought that too but wasn't as good as the PC version of course.
