Galactic Karma?

I've been playing for awhile and i keep seeing a pop up saying Galactic Karma: *random event* pop up, but i've no idea what they mean or what happened.

i looked it up and i found one thread on Soldak forums saying that it's basically random events, positive events for weaker races and negative for stronger factions. but still no description as to what is happening.

For example, i just got Galactic karma: Coordinated Wars(Human)
Human is the strongest race right now but i've no idea what on earth the event did.

So from what i can see suddenly Humans have a lot of quests with wars with random monsters. I guess that's what that event is.

Yeah, I guess they're not described in detail, but bad karma events usually happen to races in the lead, and vice versa, which can even things out a bit sometimes.
