NeonXSZ and http://steamcommunity.com/groups/geocore both use the Unity3D engine, which recently switched from DirectInput to RawInput. NeonXSZ thereby has a problem with some controllers as Unity3D messes up the RawInput.
This is correct for my title and also affects some others, for example I believe Kerbal has this issue as well. Geocore is my project and certain older sticks do not detect correctly in Unity at the moment. I have not given up on resolving the issue though, as I am very concerned with having my old Descent veteran friends be able to play my game on their 3dpro's. This issue does not happen in OSX from what we have tested so far. I am hoping it does not happen in Linux as well. The creator of the 3dpro adapter that people are using is a very good friend of mine, and I am working with him to see if the issue can be resolved at least for the 3dpro. If you are looking for a "spiritual successor" to Descent, please check out my project.
