How to force a "more strong" ship auto-leveling?

someone can help me? I'm playing with X360 controler and bank is a pain in the nose. I need something to force it more.

This game was meant to be played with a keyboard :3 The auto-levelling is the most you will get. Personally I prefer none - it doesnt interfere with my steering that way

I don't know of any way to increase ship auto leveling. Truthfully though, I would suggest disabling it as well; but to each his own! :)

If you sit long enough to let auto-leveling happen you're doin' it rong.

I am curious about controller play, but anyway, use a couple of keys on the KB, you don't need it that often.

Might be a bit late but I got a hint for you. Get used to play without auto-levelling. The reason is that in some situation auto-level can really screw up your aim. Auto level quite also stop you from taking full advantage of the pyro< movement capability.

hmm.. all us old pros turned off auto-leveling so we could pull off sick maneuvers in dogfights. Triple-chording all day....

D2X-XL offers two additional auto levelling modes on top of what standard Descent offers. Maybe you want to try one of these (and D2X-XL).

I've played keyboard and joystick, and enjoyed both. I concur that auto-leveling is really, really, dumb. It's a 360^ game with 3 axis of movement. Auto leveling just makes your manuevering whacky and tries to force a 2D mindset on what is a trully 3D game experience. In space, there is no down or up! It's all friggin' relative to YOU! Vertigoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
