Free Standalone licence for Steam licence
If you purchase any Allegorithmic product on Steam, you can get for free a standalone licence to run the software out of Steam.

Follow this process to get your standalone licence:
- Create an account at http://www.allegorithmic.com
- Go to My Account
- Click on "Link to my Steam Account"
- Enter your Steam login and password when requested
- Click on "Retrieve my licences"

You will then be granted a standalone licence for each of your products.

It also works the other way. I bought standalone and contacted them for Steam keys. Really nice of you guys to do this. I wish more companies who offer products on Steam would do this.

Yet it's buggy too:-P

I had to directly contact some poor Q&A fellow to aquire licenses 'cause all i've had was this mess:

Actually, those errors means our licence server was down/overwhelmed by people's request. Waiting a few hours solved the problems. And if it doesn't, you can of course always contact us!
Thank you for doing this. Kudos.

Does this have an in-game overlay when open with Steam? It doesn't worked for me.

I had to message their help center and they sent me a code to activate on my PC. just email them about it.

I just did this, but it gave me an offline license for Substance Designer 4 instead of Substance Designer 5, which is what's in my account. Is that just a typo or was I given the wrong license?

That should now be fixed.
