Does Not Play Well With Others Achievement - What Counts as a Friendly Action?
For the "Does Not Play Well With Others" Achievement, what exactly counts as a friendly action? The reason I ask is because I went through one playthrough specifically to get this achievement and did not get it.

In that playthrough, I assumed that Quests and Negotiate with Mercs (at the black market) did not count as friendly actions. But since I failed to get the achievement, one or both of those must count as friendly actions. I also assume that the planetary government screen actions don't count as friendly, but since you can't form a Federation without that, that assumption must be correct.

Please help, devs or anyone who has gotten this achievement.

I can confirm that quests (or at least SOME of them) DO count as friendly actions.

Set your difficulties down.
Pick a race with good STARTING weapons, you'll need them and you can't hunt for better ones.
Pick invasion.
Go to obscura.
Kill their ships.
Then kill more of their ships.
Then keep killing even more of their ships whenever they have any ships at all.
Do it all alone for the sake of creds per kill multiplier.

Whenever there's something on the ground run the ground support mission.
Whenever there's no one on the ground and there are no obscura ships in orbit run bombardment.

The tricky part is having enough creds to run bombardment.

While you're doing combat see if you can drop some nukes or deploy some bombers.

One particularly cheesy/beefy bomber deployment can be achieved on the “smuggle resistance” hostile action. If there are no obscura defenses left and a good number of attackers in their orbit this operation basically turns into you sitting there and waiting for all the ships to land. Use that time to let your bombers bomb in peace.
