The Anechoic Lazaret Bugged
Loving the game so far but now the game is bugged and I can't complete this quest. It's going fine when I go to the lower level and start fighting the drones, I'll kill all the ones in the imediate are and it'll take me back out of crisis mode, but then my party members freeze in place and can only move the last castoff character and it'll no longer run all the way to things that you can select in the world. Happen to anyone else?

You have to disable all three consoles (I dont know how they are called in the english version), after it go to the room where the "main drone" is located. Talk to it, use the convince dialog option and then all the available options to "just" talk to it. After all there will be left the options disable or destroy. Choose disable. After that the quest will be updated and you can go back to that woman who gave you the quest. ;)

Thanks, as I mentioned I did all that but it did not trigger the end. I had to reload and redo it. :)

When you redid the quest did you kill all the drones or did you do it the proper way & leave some alive for the artefact?

When I redid it I didnt kill any, maybe a couple by mistake. I just ran to the green towers and turned them non-hostile and then I got to the red drone thing you have to dissable. Was kinda bored of taking the same battle again.

I was able to fix it by doing edits in the files Haiaiai described in this thread, comment #61 / page 5.

Just ran into this today. The key (for me at least) has been to activate all 3 consoles BEFORE interacting with the "droid" in the South Western part of the map. The first time I did 2 consoles, and interacted with the bad droid, then the 3rd console. It didn't seem to matter if any droids were left alive, both times I had 2 neutral droids that I did not kill.

@Thrasher - actually I tried your solution, but didn't help me. I visited 3 consoles, then the broken droid in the south... and. Nope :(

Anyone knows the really working solution? Don't want to play it again from beginning :(

I'm experiencing this bug too. This is ruining the game for me. Second RPG in a row I get stuck because of a bugged quest. Last one was, oh irony, Pillars of Eternity...

Curious what bug you hit in PoE. I've played through it many times without hitting a game breaker.

Well then, if refusing the quest is the solution, maybe it should be also, not buying the game or calling for a refund on Steam? :/

I looked for answer around and there's no solution provided. Sometimes it is: "start the game again". Really?

I'm having the bug too: Questlog says I've dealt with the infestation and disabled the source but I can't solve the Quest with Salimeri - just don't have an option to tell her.

Yeah, this bug is really annoying. That the drones corpses are weirdly scattered etc is one thing, but that it gets so bady bugged that even when completing the quest, the actual quest doesn't get updated so you can't turn it in. In my eyes, such an early quest being bugged like that is quite unacceptable. I sincerely hope there is a bug fix for this in the near future!

That's why you make lots of saves in RPG's like this.
I went through the quest just fine, even after a reload inside the server. Just spoke to all the machines and ignored the drones. Worked like a charm. If combat's your kinda thing, maybe TToN isn't your kinda game. It focuses heavily on narrative, not combat.

I REALLY tried to do it talkative way... and they attacked me :(

LOL

We DO make a lot of saves. I just immersed myself and spent 20 hours plus on my way back -talking and helping my way through Sagus Cliffs.

Having now read about this, and having a particular party member, the quest reward is CRUCIAL, before continuing any furter.

Perhaps they should hire an eight y.o. to simply add an extra dialogue option:

"I already did what you asked of me."

And get the reward so we can finally play the game.

If they haven't fixed it by the time I get home from vacation, I'll just have to petition for a product not delivered/working, to get my money back.
