Steam needs a PUZZLE category
Too many puzzle games are listed as Indie, Casual when that says NOTHING about their genre.

About time Steam created the Puzzle category as well?

Btw, this is a great game on my tablet!

Agreed
The whole category system is entirely broken to begin with. ♥♥♥♥ Zombie Army 2 is listed as an Adventure, for example.

They really need more categories, more specific things than "Action", "Adventure", "Indie" or "Casual"...

They deffinitly need to update their store search and categories it's slow and cumbersome.

I agree too...

I too think that steam must expand the list of genres, or add some kind of tags like jrpg, arpg, tps or fps instead of "action". I dont really understand what casual means now, because there're too many games that are listed as casual, by the way some of them are less casual than some games that arent listed as casual.

They need to have the categories like gamersgate does. Seriously. You know exactly if most games will appeal to you just by looking at the category. Here's a link to the website to show you what I'm talking about. http://www.gamersgate.com/games?state=available (click genre to see just how specific the categories are.

Yeah, for all their greatness, Steam still is rather archaic functionally.
They also need to allow you to sort your library by store category OR change back the library custom category option to allow it to function as 'tags' rather than 'folders'.. :/ (I would like to be able to sort my games in multiple ways.. by game genre, publisher, developer, theme, visual style, gameplay style, etc.)

That is what I meant by "archaic". I want to be able to sort my games by date purchased, date released. Also would like to give my games a over 5 or 10 rating for personal reference and be able to sort them. Finally, I also want better achievement sorting. Rarest, % completed, latest etc (this can be done using Astats but still native would be better).

Ooh, so can this game be played with nothing but a touch screen? Or does it require a kb and/or mouse at some point?

And I agree, they need to kick some of what's in place in line before expanding all these other weird things.

And they also need to add the Horror category!

This. Quite surprising really.

OMG yes. Puzzles are causal or action or strategy but what they really are are PUZZLES.
Furthermore Indie as genre in steam needs to die ! it is no genre but the lack of a publisher speak: another form of distribution This says absolutely nothing about a game. Could be the developers found no publisher who believed in the project. Could be the fact the developers just wanted to do do their own thing. could be a bazillion of other things. This "genre" is simply invalid
