Avoid this game. There are problems before you even start the actual game. When you boot up the game, there is no mouse cursor and the arrow keys don't work. Only through trial and error was I able to figure out that you had to use the A & D keys to move the arrow. But when you try to hit the enter key, it does absolutely nothing. Instead, you have to press the mouse button.
In the config menu, there is no way to change the key settings so you are stuck with what they give you. You can lower the volume but it tricks you into thinking that you actually had control of the volume. If you wait a minute on the config screen, the volume magically goes back up to full. Even if you lower the volume to silent, once you start the game, there is sound.
Now onto the actual gameplay, if you can even call it that. This is a top down shooter that is trying to look like the games of old. But the graphics are ugly and the backgrounds are distracting, making it hard to see what is happening on screen. The point is to rescue all the people within the given time limit. There are enemies and you have a gun on your vehicle but it all seems unnecessary. The enemies don't do enough damage to even bother shooting them. Gameplay basically boils down to a maze-like runner, hoping to find all the people before time runs out.
If you paid for this game, you should demand a refund. The only redeeming thing that it has going for it is that it has steam trading cards. Just let this game run in the background for a hour and collect your free cards. Remember to turn off your speakers or unplug your headphones because there will be sound, no matter how hard you try.
