If they have RCT3 on here why not 2?
I didn't like the 3rd game but I would be more than happy to purchase the 2nd. Who else thinks they should do this?

I really liked 2, they should put it on here.

It would be nice if they were all on. I never used to like the 3rd one much but it has become my favourite since there is so much custom content you can add to improve the game.

LightningZombie Feb 18, 2013 @ 7:02pm

I think the second game is available on Good Old Games (I know the first game is - I bought it there). I can't decide if I like the first or second one better (it seems easier to sculpt the land in the first game for me)

I believe I heard somewhere that the 2nd has everything the first has except scenarios and more in terms of features.

I honestly didn't like the second one at all, so I always just the played the first until I got the third. But I would love to see both the first and second on here. I definatly would buy them both lol

I LOVE the thrid game. I also loved the first game. But I honestly didn't like the second game. All scenarios were unlocked, destryoing the incentive to beat scenarios. In the first and thrid games, the scenarios are unlockabel. The third game also have a great variety of park objectives.

Yes, the first, second, and third game works on Windows 7 and Windows 8.

You can download the first and second (and the third) from GOG.com at a very low price!

1: Rct 2 is from 2002, its 11 years old. It is a stretch to even have 3 on steam.
2: Atari owns the series now, and 2 wasn't made by Atari.

I would like RCT2, and RCT1 - complete packs - on Steam as well. Maybe as a remake with Steam workshop and/or achievements.
RCT2 was great. But, as "Bad Dr. Naz" says, all the parks was unlocked from the beginning, making the game like a kind of sandbox only. My favourite RCT game is still the first one, with AA/CF and LL. In spite of that RCT1 have som gameplay problems, that RCT2 fixed, the unlocked scenarios in RCT2 do, that my favourite is still RCT1.

I don't care I take this game over Rct2 anyday. At least rct3 is actually differen, rct2 as the exact same game as rct1 but with different scenarios

I agree. RCT2 was a joke. It was nothing but an expansion pack for RCT1. But Atari still sells RCT 1 Delux on their website. :)
