failed to create d3d

I was playing RCT# last night with no problems and went to change the visual settings to performance and all of a sudden the srceen started flashing so I exited out and close the tab now it says failed to create d3d... Ive changed the settings before without problems...Anyone eles have this problem? Any solutuions out there...Ive tried deleting Steam and RCT 3 reinstalling both..No fix..Every other game is working fine though

delete the RCT3 ( options file ) or open it up and change the ( first time 1 ) to (first time 0 ) and save over it. If this doesn't work then u need to delete the other....yes other options file located here and then restart the game.............> C\main\Appdata\roaming\atari\RCT3\options

when you restart the game these folders should be replaced.

Note: the folder called Appdata is a hidden folder so you will need to be able to view hidden folders on your hard drive. to view hidden folders you need to go into your control panel and then into folder options and select view all folders or find where it states view hidden folders.

If you have ATI Radeon card or chipset You may need a NEWER or SPECIFIC video driver just to get the game to play. Search the threads for words such as ; ATI,Radeon;Catalyst
