Patrol Path on Elevated Platform

I've looked up and down and I cant seem to find the answer. Hopefully one of you can help.

So I have coaster that has an elevevated platform so the que and exits are above ground. I created the paths however when I try and create a patrol path for mechanics and maintenance workers I am only able to select underneath the slop/stairs/ underneath ride itself.

My question is how can I select the elevated part to add it do their patrol route?

They will walk up the path as long as the ride is enclosed inside their area of patrol.

I will give it another try. I thought I had it selected underneath, but I could have missed a box or two.

make sure all the paths allow them to walk there also.
