So I have a steelseries controller.
All the controls are fairly messed up. Movement reversed, Triangle zooms, R1 moves up.
Etc. x360ce doesn't seem to be doing the trick. Any ideas?

Never use a PS3 controller for Steam games.

I'd rather find a way to make something I enjoy work than convert.

We haven;t tested with those controllers, and the library we use for controller support is pretty new, so it's a bit limited in it's device support. If we can find one of these controllers to test with we'll try and patch in support for you.

Well, they're only about 20 bucks. Very generic. I like them though.

Also thank you for the response!

Get an XBox 360 gamepad. This is pretty much the default gamepad for 100% of games that claim to support gamepads.

Maybe I don't even WANT a 360 controller. Regardless, x360ce SHOULD solve that issue.

It does not. Which is strange really. Like they only take raw input and the mapping for my controller is all kinds of different from the mapping for the layout of the 360 controllers.

But maybe if I go mess with x360ce some more I can get it to work and help others with it.

Then get the Logitec 730.

Okay, new approach...I made this thread for a reason. I'm trying to find a way to play the game iwth what I already have, because I am fine with what I already have. I do not need advertisements for other things, it's fundamentally unhelpful.

Although I might consider it for the future.

The thing is, you will run into the same problem ever and ever and ever and ever again. So I am actually trying to help you. Do you really want to run into the same problem again or do you want to solve it once and for all?
Besides, what you have is, well, a niche device. It's like using Linux and complaining that there are hardly any games for that.
