The game jsut doesnt work anymore

I tried opening the game up after like a year of not playing it, it doesnt work anymore. Granted I 'upgraded' to Windows 10, is this the issue?

Works perfectly, I had it set to Windows 7 compatibility by default

I found the problem, the game wont start when a controller is plugged in

What's your OS and processor

You're missing "Microsoft.DirectX.DirectInput.dll". Put it in the folder.

It was happening the same to me but, happily, I was able to solve it. No compatibility or administrator modes.

Here are the steps I took.

01-Run DirectX installer. During the installation I could see something like '...installing Microsoft.DirectX....'. Apparently one of reasons is the absence of Microsoft.DirectX

02-Before you open the game, unplug your XBOX 360 Controller. Open the game, and after first screen (where it appears loading...), plug your controller.

P.s.: For Playstation Controllers, it appears you can open the game with PS controller plugged.

Finally I will be able to try this game
