I know it jumps the obvious order of things (missing out cannons etc) but personally I would love to see you make tutorials on AI, Sub construction and basic aeroplanes - these things are daunting to new people and arent necessarily obvious even with tutorials - excellent work!

The only thing I missed in the sub tutorial was the Jet Stabilizers. They are pretty key, but found in the Air section, and I would never have assumed they worked underwater until I asked on the forums.

The AI is pretty easy, just load up any of the prebuilt ships (you can do this in the designer, one of the bullets in the load vehicle screen unhides the prebuilt vehicles) and copy their set up. The hardest part about AI is getting everything connected, since some blocks dont connect on all sides, like the weapon controller or the wireless recievers/transmitters. Once you get it down, you find yourself automating everything using automated control blocks :D

Airplanes are better to start small. Check out my workshop bomber, made out of the tiny starter raft. It has both the basic AI set and it functions well as a plane.

Thank you, I was thinking the same thing actually. Those were some of the harder things to figure out. Though as Hansuki said, you could just load up something included and copy. Though not everyone learns that way.

tried to get a tutorial video thread started myself the other day, sadly it sunk off the page, do you mind if i post my tutorial vids here too? figure better to have 1 thread sharing these type of videos makes it easier for people to find and ofcourse keeps it at the first page :)

Ya.. I wish I could give you Admin on the thread so you could post them up at the top. If you throw them in I will move them to the top with your name!

I've added that into the main post for you

I didn't really get the gist of the electrical engine tutorial. I mean I've built them and they seem to work alright, and yeah, I get that they miiiight be useful as a backup power reserve when your engine is knocked out, but I'd really like to know about those battery-driven drones and vessels.

How do you recharge a battery without a local engine, that kind of stuff.

Generator on a nearby vehicle will charge the chargers on a drone. the generator (on the nearby ship) is powered by a normal fuel driven engine
What about this video? It's pretty helpful and covers a wide range of topics.
