Should I buy it?

I'm seriously thinking about getting this game on Christmas Sale (as well as others) but I just want to know why there are so many negative reviews and people hating this game..
Should I buy it or not?

TBH - most of the reviews are probably just too quick to judge and/or criticising based on it just not being their style of game.

I really enjoyed it. If you enjoy platformer style games and want to play one in the Batman universe - get it :)

[Arkham Obsessed]

I clearly love all things Arkham... have played through all the games and DLC's many times... This one is just for the completionists, as it really is a bore. Any game where you spend half your time lost or double backing over and over is a snoozer as far as I am concerned. If you are just jonesing for more of an Arkham fix, go for it, but because it was designed for another platform it really isn't fair to compair, so keep you expectations super low.

If youre into the Arkham series you will be majorly dissapointed.
Its a clunky console port with semi-2D platforms (meaning its got some depth to it sometimes which only makes getting where you need to go more of a mess, plus you have to constantly backtrack through the maps to get from one point to the other in between missions).

Id suggest you stay away from it unless you are really into this kind of thing (check out gameplay footage on yt maybe).

The story is minimal, the fights are boring but sometimes frustrating through timing issues and the only positive imo is the original voice actors being on board.

Grab it for free or maybe a buck if youre really into this, I could not recommend it for anything above 3$...

Well I'm more from the Castlevania 2D series so I know very well what you're talking about, and I like that type of games, I simply don't understand why people don't like it just because is a 2.5D game, I mean, c'mon guys you're more like this, a gamer is a gamer, you know like "oh don't play it because It's a 2.5D game...." c'mon....
Probably I'll get it, of course only if it's 75% sale but you guys, need to improve your arguments of why shouldn't I buy it...

sure, i might not have played many 2d-platformers, but still... i can judge when the story is crap, the controls are clunky, the maps are full of backtracking and the fights are boring/annoyingly frustrating at times.

i knew that the game wasnt a 3d experience like the rest and came from a handheld console, and i came in with an open mind regardless since i liked the series.

but im only voicing my two cents, this may surely be different from your opinion if you like enjoy that kind of thing. have at it.

was worth it for me, got every batman game for 10£ from a key site when it just advertised arkham knight..

no, not worth the time, or money, or effort.
they gave me this for free becuse of the not so successful launch of Arkham Knight and TBH i hate seeing this in my library, sadly i cant remove this from my account since it bundles with the Whole Arkham Series for a reason unknown.... which means i have to remove the whole bundle to unlist this game from my library, which is really a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ move.

i leave only the games i like in my library, meaning if i bought a game i dont like i'll refund it, if it exceeds the time limit, i delete it from my library. Normally they all worked, until this game emerged, it bursted my little bubble.

it's a 3ds game and plays more like a platformer. So, you can understand why people weren't too enthusiastic about it.

it's a bad game but it's not the worst, just don't buy it on pc, it could be better on the 3ds.
