like seeing a mech game on steam

Way back in the day they use to have bars that had a warehouse with pods that simulated the mechwarrior battles. I played it in Las Vegas all the time. Each match was 15 min long and cost about ten bucks. The non players could watch the matches on screens that showed the battle. The tech was low but the playabilty was awesome. yes your mech looked blocky but you set in pod with a computer screen in front of you and all of the controls lined around it. You controlled your mech with footpedals for torso turn and a joystick for turret control. when you overheated you had to punch in a code to overide. But my favorite features were splash damage from running into ♥♥♥♥, being able to target individual parts of a mech to cripple it. so you could shoot off a leg and slow m down or hit an arm and spin them from targetting you. My favorite was the thor ( which we called the can opener), or the vulture, which was full of lasers and a devastating alpha strike. I would like to see mech battles like this. And you could always go home and play mechwarrior by yourself on your pc , long live mechwarrior black night and vengeance !!!
