gave this another go...
graphically much better than I remember but it's been a long time however....no one still plays during the day, and the sp is pointless the ai are utterly broken friendly ai just get stuck anywhere they go so it feels even worse than it was before, enemy ai however are freaking almost unbeatable now they have perfect aim and all converge on you while your friendly ai do nothing.

This still has a very long ways to go. I also thought you guys were working on destructible buildings? I didn't see any of that in it then again I dont really see the point if no one is really playing this.

All of the new things we have been working on is included in an entire revamp of the game, as has been mentioned in our various posts. None of these things are live yet, but we hope to have a Beta available sometime 4th quarter this year.

I'll give you guys credit at least you seem to aways be cheerful even if the feedback is not positive. I have completely utterly stopped playing mwo a few months back before I'd play it a few rounds in a week, I'd still say more value in that game right now just because there are several free mechs you can play as but it just seems to me like mech games are pretty much dead, 2 years for the ps4 and x1 or even pc and no big mech based game that has a good story in it smh. Gaming is dying for me fast and I'm not quite 30 yet.

I guess for us there is a difference between negative posts and people trolling. I don't see your posts as trolling, but someone who is wishing for a really good game. If you didn't care you wouldn't bother, so why shouldn't we be cheerful? :) We are working on ways to speed up develpoment, but as an indie it is not always so easy. We are committed to this product though so we will continue to try and make this a great game.

Good on you for persevering. I dont wish this to fail or be completely forgotten but it just seems to me to have been doomed to fail with games like mechwarrior still going, though I am glad I no longer play that game.

Lots of cool developments in the line if you've been following the dev diaries! I'm excited, but life is keeping me from being able to play like I want.

Megatron, your critique in this post is intelligent and thought out well. I kind of agree with your assessment but patience and measurement is important too. Good on you.

Its been awhile since an in-game update but i know that anything we say really doesn't matter until we release what we have been working on in the background.

I am currently working on some environments more focused providing a story for the mission. You will see the above environment in a couple upcoming video updates and eventually in a new trailer, then in some form in the next game update.

As the lead designer my focus has changed since the end of last year. We took feedback from the community around the need for solid AI and SP missions and used that to form a new direction. This has caused most our time to be refunnelled into building or integrating better systems into a new engine.

When we do release the next update, our hope is the time between updates will be worth it.
