I'm excited to give this a whirl, but I'm away from the PC for a few days. I'll be streaming and maybe post a video as soon as I can.

Works for me so far. Completed the tutorial on Gentoo x86_64, nVidia 980, binary driver 378.13
Of course my mobo dies right before the beta :(

Absolutely awesome, love the vulture like mech. Brings back memories. Graphical glitches when using other then stock settings. Haven't tested much of anything else. Thank you for bringing a mech game to linux!

Can someone maybe make a video of the new update and its features/graphics? Those of us who are watching the game but haven't picked it up yet would really appreciate it!

dudlblah: If you could give us some screenshots / machine specs and what you changed in settings to help us improve the game it would be greatly appreciated. The main focus of this BETA 1 test is to fix issues with various range of systems that we can. Also would be good to know if you are using opensource drivers or drivers from the manufacturer of your video card.

bryo: We will likely make some new videos at some point but I do not know when yet. There are some screenshots of the game in news section and we have an older video from september of last year that we took to some gaming shows here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZJLPQGa80I A lot of the noticable bugs in that video have been fixed and it does not include the new tutorial map either but does give you some idea of the game.

Edit: This is mutexer by the way, this is my company account for mac and MP testing. Wanted to let you know since I forgot to put the developer tag on this account.

You can send them to our support address support@maxgaming.net
Having issues loading up the game. Trying to redownload and will try to get it going again.

Okay, restarted steam and the game loaded fine. Graphics were defaulted to low, so bumping that really helped. Now I have to relearn to play.

Played the beta a bit. Maybe 30 minutes so far. Looks and plays great. Would love that joystick support with two controller inputs available but not an issue. Will play more to find actual feedback. Variable speed would be a plus. No complaints yet and no issues found.

We will definately be putting in the joystick and mutliple controllers support in at some point over the next couple months once we get the main issues out of the way. Any feedback you have would be grateful.

You can use the + and - keys on the numpad to control your speed. One of our plans is to make a series of short training missions to make things like this better known.
yes ur right
