Now, this is a perfectly competent game on face value. A more advanced minesweeper, is the simplistic way of looking at it. However, comparing the two is difficult because I can't say one is better than the other; almost cognitive dissonance, but they are very different at the same time. Issue I have is a combination of vagueness and the arbitrary nature of the puzzles. Rather than the inference of other "ambient tabletop" puzzlers or what have ye, this is much more arbitrary and trial and error, and not in the good way. It awards you for inferring but will also have a seeming randomness which does feel like I'm being betrayed, giving it a little bit of imbalance. When there are various other versions of this for sale as well as MAAAAAANY other similar combinations of minimal graphic design, simple yet complex puzzles and ambient music for sale, this is a lot more stlye than substance. Sadly, Steam offers dichotomous reviewing, but this is good. With the different things mentioned here, however, you should get a different version or explore the tag in Steam, because you can do better. To be more specific, it's a 5 or 6/10. Above average, but it suffers from context and gaming flaws.
