Dead Rising 3 Steam/PC FAQ (Updated Oct. 22nd)
Q: How can I unlock the frame rate?
A: Create a “user.ini” file which contains a single line; “gmpcr_unlock_frame_rate = True” (no quotes) and place it in the same folder as deadrising3.exe before running the game. Please note this is not an officially supported feature of the game.
Q: Does Dead Rising 3 support SLI / Crossfire?
While this can benefit some games, DR3 PC does not make use of dual-GPUs. If your system is set to force dual-GPU usage when playing games, you can expect to see lower frame rates when compared to not forcing this setting.
Q. I can't find the "Untold Stories" DLCs in the title menu. What's going on?
A. Make sure you have the DLC checkbox populated in the title property menu. Simply right-click on Dead Rising 3 from your Steam library list, select Properties, and then click the DLC tab. Ensure DLC 1~4 is all checked and then restart the game. Voila!
