Originally an xbox exlusive, looks like Microsoft sold itself out. Again.
This series has long been an xbox exclusive, its pretty funny how they stop giving a ♥♥♥♥ if they smell money.

They knew some would buy an xbone just to play the game if they believed it was xbone exclusive.
They didnt release it beside the xbox because they knew it would show-up the xbone and people would just buy a PC instead once the reviews started.

They didnt say it would be released eventually because they knew PC user would re-buy it if they had already so they had nothing stoping them from doing so.

Long been an xbox exclusive? Dead Rising 1 was originally an xbox exclusive, then it came to the WIi(Granted at a much later date, exactly what DR3 is doing). Dead Rising 2 launched on the 360, ps3, and PC.

I don't know if I would say what Microsoft/Capcom did was underhanded, it was business transaction, make your game exclusive to us, and we'll give you the money you need to make your game. Seems pretty intelligent to me.

It's a shame I had to wait for it to come to PC, as I do not want an Xbox One, nor was I willing to get one for DR3. With that said, i'm quite happy DR3 is coming to PC and very much look forward to playing it.

TL;DR Business is business. Be glad it's coming to PC at all.

It might be but it might be like with dead rissing one where it was only ported to one other system,it also seems like microsoft does not care if its games get ported as long as sony does not get there hands on them.

If it does get a ps4 port though I will find it really funny

Dead rising 3 was anounced as xbox one and pc but quickly changed to a xbox one exclusive. But now came back again as a pc title. (If I remember correctly. I might have to google that one)

I sincerely doubt that. PS4 would have gotten it before PC if that was the case.

It's called "business" and it's all about making money so stop complaining because they aren't catering to your specific needs in a specific way. It was very generous of Microsoft to upgrade this PC version to the Apoc Edition instead of releasing DLC separately. I see no problems in any of their decisions from a consumer's point of view.

If MS smelled real money we would all have the halos on steam.

Microsoft should know that Capcom can't commit to a real realtionship.

Exclusives is a really bad business, I hate it and I'm glad that DR3 was not that great success on X1 ;-P

*Sigh*
'Exclusive' in game release terms doesn't mean a game will never ever see release for another system, just that it is exclusive to one or more systems at launch.

Nobody cares. Console/platform wars are for 12 years olds. Or for grown up losers that have an emotional attachment for a piece of hardware.
I hope they finally realised that PC isnt a threat to console sales, im just glad we're finally getting a full blown metal gear game (not counting revegeance). Also Ryse...

First of all, Kojima didnt say MGS 5 -was- comming to PC. (Though It probably will... eventually), He only stated that he was Interested but was unwilling to make a formal announcement for a PC release. And if it does truely get announced (Which it probably will.) be prepaired to wait an additional 6 months to a year after the console retail version.

Second of all, Its no secret that Xbone sucks. With it falling behind in sales as compaired to its direct competitor, Which is now selling even more thanks to Destiny and will probably no doubt fall behind Nintendo's Wii-u with there up comming exclusives such as Hyrule warriors and SuperSmashBro's 5. Smash its self has been known to marginally boost sales for the Nintendo Consols substantually per release.

The only reason people truely have to stick to Micrsofts console is Killer Instinct. Capcom Has always been about trying to squeeze out an extra few bucks. Its a smart marketing decision over all. Since they cant completely break there contract with Microsoft might as well port it to a system that people actually care about. (PC)
