Does the achievements work on Linux?

Just wondering, has anybody tried if the achievements work on Linux? (I haven't tried myself)

Yes it works, got Aptitude ...

yes. the game, achievements etc all worked flawlessly on my Ubuntu 12.04 installs... it saved my progress between machines also.
