Nope. Vive support is needed and required.
Required? By who? Stop being so entitled and appreciate the devs for the hard work they are doing.
Required by the new generation of gamers. By the future, by the times, stop living in the past. Oculus is already tanking compared to Vive, reviews are in check Reddit.
VR means Vive, and they should be making the game compatible.
I sense the fanboy strong in you, with your obvious offense and "entitled" attacks. Get a better job?
Hilarious.
Devs have commented on this in the recent past. They'd like to do it, but they don't have the resources available to focus on adding it right now. Their primary focus is finishing the game.
They're not exclusive, they've said so previously. As for sales, look at this is way. Say the Vive sells 100k units and 10% of those people decide to buy Subnautica. That's only another 10,000 customers. Meanwhile, they've already sold over 500k copies of Subnautica.
Vive support just isn't going to drive that many sales.
Actually, same goes for other headsets too, it will only be minority who are going to run around with these fancy things. They are quite expensive and require good computer to use properly.
Ohh yeah, did not check that.
Yeah, no spit genius, it doesn't have Vive support. Derp!! Hence my post.
To the non-fools, thanks for the info. When they get around to Vive support, I'll buy, looks like a good game. Hopefully they realize the importance of Vive support.
