I don't know if other OSes allow this functionality.
That's actually a common issue. Some fixes have been suggested, but none work for me. The game seems to rely on Windows Media Player, and one fix was to use DLLs to replace that need. I couldn't get the DLLs to register on my system though, so the game's remained mute.
I mean no insult, as what I played of the game was awesome. But you guys should not have created dependencies on files that might not be a part of people's computers, and included them in the installation. I'll still hopeful for a fix, 'cause the game was pretty fun :)
