One Finger Death Punch is a indie game developed by Silver Dollar Games and is about a fighter taking on hordes and hordes of other fighters dressed up in varying colors which requires different button combinations to defeat.
If I would compare this game to any other game it would be God Hand, both games are very hard brawler games about the best fighter in the world (in their respective games) and the difficulty increases depending on how good you do. The difference is that God Hand is a Third-Person Brawler, One Finger Death Punch is a 2D brawler.
The difficulty in One Finger Death Punch is achieved through increasing the speed at which enemies come at you and thus the speed you have to take them out before you have to deal with new enemies. It is not an easy game, because just as you become better the game becomes harder and when it becomes too hard it lets off and lowers the speed.
It has a varity of different modes which pretty much all comes down beating up a large amount of dudes that are coming at you.
The game manages to put a lot of depth into gameplay based on hitting dudes coming at you, and only uses 2 buttons to do this. It also has a few other way to make the game harder, like during Retro Film Round or Thunder Storm Rounds when the color of enemies are impossible to see and you have to rely on the bars benieth the enemies to know which button combinations to press.
In summary One Finger Death Punch is a surprising little gem and a game with more to it than you can see on the surface. This game is easy to recommend, as for whether you will like it or not taht I cannot say. I didn't know whether I would like this game or not when I bought it, but for its price I have and will get many hours of fun out of this game.
