Nightmare, Doomshards and the amount of money I am spending to keep your game going.
Doom Shards and Nightmare ABSOLUTELY must be nerfed...Doom Shards is still not nerfed enough. People are still dropping alll 3 bombs in under a second. im not spending another ♥♥♥♥ing dime on this game until that ♥♥♥♥ is fixed. If Wyrmbite wants to continue to lose $$$ , just keep on keeping on....Ill go spend money somewhere else.

As a side note, Imperial is borderline...its charge move is on too short of a cooldown.

They should nerf the damage, not the cooldown.

How about a slight reduction of range and add falloff damage on distance (the further you are, the less damage)? In short, it can still deal massive damage up close, but adding the falloff means that you need to fight closer if they want to deal more damage (right into your own attacks).

That doesnt solve the problem Darth. The tactic currently is to fly RIGHT into people, drop all three bombs and move back...Imperial and Nightmare can do so quite easily. While focus blade is annoying because its an auto hit, the bombs are what really make the weapon overshadow nearly everything else. My proposal to fix Doom shards would be a damage drop off similar to other beam dragons on Focus blade, and an increased Re-use timer on the aoe that is *unaffected by cooldown reduction* If it took 3-5 seconds to drop all your bombs the popularity of the thing would go way down. One of the games I was in the other day had 4 gemtalons and a nightmare, ALL with doom shards...That game was ...awful..simply dreadful and was pretty much auto kills getting hit with3-5 shards at once and made me quit playing for the rest of the day.

My proposal on Nightmare is to decrease its breath weapon attack rate so that you dont get auto feared(compare to rate on Quetz, quetz is MUCH lower) but the REAL problem is the Wings.....It lasts far to long and has the consequence of making Nightmare FAR to safe of a choice, similar to what Mist was like. There no risk vs reward with Nightmare...just gain lvls to win. Also, fear lasts a terribly long time compared to Quetz and combined with DS is pretty much an auto kill as you get feard back into the aoes.


Whatever you guys decide to do, people are crutching on Imperial and Nightmare + doom shards BIG TIME right now. While some of the higher end players use Lunaveil, the mid and lower end is RIFE with NM, Gem(still) and Imperial...and i can tell from the chat that people are tired of it and its probably driving away new players as well as old.


While im on the top here and since ive unlocked most of the weapons on my account...some are just really, really weak from an actual in game play perspective. Ulfbert comes to mind...there is zero that this weapon does that isnt done by something else, only 100x better. Its not the only one, but is a good example. The weapons in general need a pass by someone thats impartial and knowledgeable. All of them could be fixed with various numbers changes so the coding would be quite easy.

The underpowered dragons need another boost...but its mostly a useability issue. Deep Fiend comes to mind. You never see it because its weak AND hard to use.

Finally....please please get a small test server and invite a select group to try out balance changes lol!!!!

Yeah the Doomshards are WAY over powered a guy should not be able to drop 3 spinners in 3 seconds plus the powerful beam and his noramal attack it almost impossible to survive. Nightmare + doomshards is a wicked combo but its not nightmare that needs to be nerfed. Nightmare maxed only does 200 DPS not even close to some other dragons. the wings only do 110 DPS and last 6.5 seconds and takes about 8 seconds to recharge. granted the time could be nerfed on how long the wings last but other then that its fine. But Doomshards defenitly needs to be nerfed.

The issue with the combo is that nightmare applies its proc to often, forcing you into the shard aoe. Nightmare itself was accidentally overbuffed last patch on the rate of its breath weapon according to keynap. Wings is too safe to engage and get out again though.

Played a bit more today.....yeah, pretty much EVERYTHING about Doom Shards need to be nerfed...so many ruined games today because of Imp/NIght + doom shards..... DO SOMETHING
