For the next update I'll be updating the Steamworks integration to use Valve's new VR features so Oculus Rift should be detected and enabled by default if you're running Steam in VR mode. Surrounding this I'll also try to identify and fix this issues you're having.
I'm planning on adding some additional Hydra calibration options to tweak orientations. In the mean time if your hands are oriented "correctly" as per the calibration image (left hand at left shoulder, right hand at right shoulder, Hydras pointed towards neck/face) when hitting 1 or 2, it should be fine. If not, try turning your wrists to different angles to account for the offset.
Hydra :
I retired, can't get the calibration to work, still the same orientation.
-with the same position as the image
-in "Tuscany calibration pose"
I have the same result.
Even with simplified rift and alternate control, tried it all.
Still 90d on the left and 35 on the right.
I look forward to the next patch then. (or to a PrioVR version...)
If you want me to test some things in -beta before release, I'll be glad to help.
