However, due to a lot of positive feedback and encouragement from testers and press, we did decide to add a paid "Extended Cut" with some bonuses to those who would like to support your fellow indie devs :)
In the end that's all I put on Steam since the base game is DRM free on our site already. The last point on our Greenlight Page explained that. Sorry if this caused a bit of confusion!
This is what was originally promised, why isn't it happening?
You may recall that Steam is a DRM service, meaning the free version was always intended to bypass that.
You're getting exactly what was promised, so you can stop misinterpreting people and projecting blame.
There is a free version available at http://postmortemgame.com/download/
The one on steam is an extended version.
You can also buy it for as little as 1.50 on that site, as they have a "Pay what you can" system.
Stop whining because the one available on Steam isn't free.
