unplayable because of key bindings
keybinder does ♥♥♥♥. Very annoying to play without keybinding.

Are you talking about your [keyboard] numpad 1-10 not working for the default binding of the answer selection? If so, are you sure you had your (num lock) key on? Because it won't work without it...

I have problems with key binding too.

I bin the keys, save then launch the game but the binding is not saved.

No, I have azerty and have to press 'w' to go forward etc. Fortunely the game isn't very lone and has no action so it's very annoying, but I overcame

Hmm sorry to hear that, what was the problem with keybinder?
Also keep in mind that the startup tutorial will show default key bindings each time, but your new ones should still work regardless!

keybinder does not work properly for me too.... I save my settings (AZERTY keyboard) but the game keeps on opening the notebook each time i'm moving to the left, even when I rebind the "notebook" key to my A and the "left" key to my Q. I even tried editing the keybind.txt file but it does not help.

Same problem here, try to make the keys AZERTY, but the binding settings just won't saved, or half of them do. Sometimes I can get the proper Z,S,Q,D to move, but then Q will open the notebooks as well as moving left for example.
The usual Alt+Shift in-game to turn into QWERTY mode also doesn't work for some reason.
I could somewhat alleviate the problem by using Xpadder to rebind the keys manually though.

Huh? It is obvious that they DON'T work.
Using keybinder.exe will wirte a file with the new keybinds. But they don't apply.
Here is my (changed) keybinds.txt:

+z = moveup_start
-z = moveup_end
+s = movedown_start
-s = movedown_end
+q = moveleft_start
-q = moveleft_end
+d = moveright_start
-d = moveright_end
e = interact
escape = pause
a = notebook
tab = picktarget
space = continue
y = prompt_yes
n = prompt_no
num1 = select1
num2 = select2
num3 = select3
num4 = select4
num5 = select5
num6 = select6
num7 = select7
num8 = select8
num9 = select9

But after that, the game seems to use "q" double: I can move left with it but after releasing that key I also get into the notebook.

Looks a bit like a very humble implemantation.
As stated above it is not playable like this.
