I am unable to get CoD2 to run multiplayer on my new Windows 10 Machine.

I did get it to work yesterday and then upgraded my graphics card - it stopped working.

I have tried the following:

1) Changing security permissions of the Exe files
2) Running as administrator driectly from the Steam Apps folder
3) Plugging a mic into the headphone jack
4) Copying Steam.dll & Steam2.dll into the Steam/common/CoD2 Folder. This now causes my computer to freeze/crash - no task manager functionality.

Any ideas?

I went back to windows 7 ♥♥♥♥ all the issues it's unbearable.

I know huh...struggling for 3 days now just to get back to sqaure one....pffffft!

try windows service pack 2 then when its launched minimize the game to desktop then bring it back up to get your mouse to sync...
