First impressions
As someone who worked on quite a few Coin Ops Conversions for the C64 & Amiga back in 80's & 90's i just thought i would give some input on this rather good looking entry.

Graphics are very well designed especially the background settings which look very crisp and well defined, enemy types suit the game really well and stand out from the backdrop so are easy to see, the one problem i do see but this is mainly due to the design of the players ship is that for the primary weapon the guns are just too far apart so when you fire they end up completely missing the emeny which can be annoying when there are two banks of enemies so unless you are lined up perfectly you miss out.

Sound wise especially the sfx well i feel they do need to be beefed up a bit but apart from that they are fine, i do feel that shooters especially really need some nice lous explosions but maybe that's just me. Did have the static noise to start with but solved that and gave a solution in another thread.

A bonus for me would be to have different ship selection for the player, maybe this could be planned for the future to suit players needs and play style, power ups i feel should look a little different and maybe better defined, round blobs i feel didn't really give me any sense originality or need to collect them. Switching between upgrades rather than being automatic from what i can tell from playing almost feels like random, i'm sure it's not the case but that's how it comes across so would like to see a little change or two there.

Bugs or issue's, had to remap the keybindings as i found them very uncomfortable indeed and initially had fire as ENTER but found that this causes the game to PAUSE so had to change it to CTRL. On the intro screen where it says ENTER or CLICK well i find most of the time CLICK has no effect so have to use ENTER to get to the OPTIONS, this is nothing major really and sure it could be resolved later. I find some enemies unable to hit initially as they hide and move to areas that can't be hit and stay there and just go away or that i have to move to an area where i am hit. Also find that you can die most easily especially from behind when there are quite a few enemies on screen so a behind or reverse shot would be most welcome, haven't discovered one yet so don't know if there even is one.

All in all a really nice effort where the graphics stand out and has some nice gameplay and a few changes to weapons and it would be a really good shooter of the type that i remember but i'm sure you have plenty more planned for the future so a nice start.

Thanks for the feedback and the encouragements. We know that our game is not perfect, but we did our best. It took a long time to release it, and I really appreciate that kind of comment which will be helpfull in the future.

Pleased to give feedback as i know it's very important and a little encouragement never hurts at all. Yes even a small game generally has a long developement cycle but i can see lot's of effort has been made and that's all we can ask for and nice to see a Dev wanting feedback as well from it's user base which is always a good sign and i'll be keeping a close eye on how this developes for the future as it does have a nice feel to it.
