Loud static noise in the game. Cant play with sound

So the blackscreen problem solved and now I can get into the game... but I get this very loud static noise in the background. I think I have an onboard realtek audio (but I tryed it with a headphone with built in soundcard, same thing). I had no problem with any sound in any game till this day.

I already had this problem once. The cause was a video software named "Video to Video Converter". Check if you have it.

The closest thing I have is the winavi video converter. Should I uninstall that and give it another go?

I would give this a try, if you don't need it and/or got the original installation files from this software. Try also to reinstall/update your audio drivers.

I did those but nothing changed. Its a big shame cause I got a press release (for testing purposes).

I'll do some tests but this is obviously a conflict between C-RUSH and an other program.

After doing some tests, that problem seems to come from a conflict with the LAV AUDIO files. If some of theses files are on your Hard Drive, just try to put them in the bin (not obliged to delete them). Theses files are concerned :

• avcodec-lav-54.dll
  
• avformat-lav-54.dll
  
• avresample-lav-1.dll
  
• avutil-lav-52.dll
  
• LAVAudio.ax
  
• LAVSplitter.ax
  
• libbluray.dll

I double checked with my Lav pack and found out mine are part of the Combined Community Codec pac, which is a needed to watch a ton of different show and anime. Removing CCCP does the trick.

So if people do have C-Rush and CCCP, they can't play the game.

I don't have any solution for the moment. Of course it's not practical, but you still can play.

Is their an option somewhere in game im missing to turn off the sound? It would be fine turning down the games sounds and just playing media player.

There isn't this option for the moment, but you can still use the sound mixer of Windows in order to shut it down. If you don't know how to do this, I'll explain.
