Character is Blue Fragments
I'd like to play this game, it sounds up my alley. However my character is always a bunch of blue transparent fragments. Are there any fixes for this? Am I out of place if I wanted to ask for a refund?

What are your PC specs? This is a known issue and a fix is in the works. I believe it happens mainly on Intel GPUs.

Here is my Dxdiag.

I know Laptops are known to not be the best gaming platform, but this one seems to get by with most games just fine.

We know some Intel GPUs have a problem with showing animated meshes. Fixing that is one of two tasks with the highest priority right now. Hopefully we will have more info about a patch really soon. But I can't know for sure when it will be done yet.

We will have to replace all the code handling how animations data get sent to the GPU. The way our engine is structured, it should not take too long, but as we have not implemented it yet, there might be some unforeseen dependence that can mess it up and require a larger rewrite.

We might finally have a solution for this now, but it need some testing before we can know for sure. Please check out this thread for more info:

Thank you Gafgar, I've not sought any sort of refund. I've actually played a little bit of the game with my character as such, and I appreciate the gameplay invovled. I'll check out the thread and it's fix in the near future.
Thank you for getting back to my thread! It means a lot, honestly the fact that you came to a thread yourself was a big influence in my decision to not seek a refund. More devs should take a page from your book. You rock!

I have tried the game a few times over the past couple weeks after making the changes instructed in this thread.

I am still experiencing the same thing however.

I posted there recently and state that there were a miss that made the first blue outlined character model still buggy, but the rest of the game seemed to work for the others that had the bug previously. I have addressed the miss, and a real patch should be live early next week.

I will be keep that other thread up to date, so please subscribe to that thread to get posted about updates.

(we are working on some other fixes atm as well, so that's why I can't give a fixed date for the patch right now, but should not be far off. Hopefully Monday, but I can't promise an exact day)
