Crashes on Start
The first time I played, the game ran smoothly for the most part before crashing after an hour in. Now whenever I start the game, the game crashes on start. I've tried restarting my computer, but nothing works.

Does it crash before the intro or after it?
Maybe it is same the issue as here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/262210/discussions/0/38596748611650372
You can then try if that build in the "test" beta branch works for you as well, instructions on how to opt in a beta branch are in that thread. When you can send me your log files of the crashing to David[at]tocogames.com I can look into it.

Before the intro, when I didn't use the "test" beta. After the intro, when I did use the "test" beta.

Ok, then you should at least get logs for the crashing with the test beta. They are located then here: Steam\steamapps\common\262210\UDKgame\logs
One other thing you could try is renaming the savegame folder so that it starts without loading it: C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Documents\My Games\Last Knight\Save maybe something got corrupted there on the first crash and then always makes it crash on load.

I sent the logs. Also, the save change didn't work. It seems to me that whenever my game tries to go full screen, it crashes

I couldn't find anything in the log that could be responsible for it, just a log spam issue that lets the logs gets big but that can't be it. If it really should have something to do with changing to fullscreen you can force that to windowed. First you need to make sure that it is set to fullscreen=false in the ini located here: SteamApps\common\262210\UDKGame\Config\ UDKEngine.ini Just search strg+F for fullscreen and the first under [SystemSettings] needs to be =false. Then make sure it doesn't load an old save. So as before rename that save game folder. After the intro you should then get the "first startup" screen in 1024x768. That screen where you can choose the resolution and language.

Today, I reinstalled the game and wiped everything clean. The game works as of now (hopefully nothing goes wrong). Another weird thing I noticed was when I tried to verify integrity, I always had to re-download 8 files. Not sure if that had anything to do with it.

Nice, let me know if you should get any problems again. Could be possible that files were missing or corrupted but I have no clue why it would redownload it every time.
