Game will not start

So I get to the first screen of text, which is some random non-Earth language, and I cannot continue from there. I have clicked I think every button on my keyboard, as well as every button on my 360 Gamepad. I really want to play this game, yet I cannot, due to the fact I cannot get past this first screen.

Excellent - I can definitely fix that for you. If you could send the log (located in the data folder in your game directory, named output_log.txt) to [e-mail] - I can investigate and see if I can crack the case.

Also - if you bought on Humble, be sure to grab the latest update (it fixes most issues).

Hi, I'm having the same issue. I've been playing on my laptop without issue, until today. I'm able to load other games, except this one. I can send you my log file, if you need it.

What I did was switch to the 32 bit version from the 64 by going directly into the folder and just picking the other version. It might have been picking the 64 version instead (far enough back I forgot, but whatever it was, it was not the standard Steam default)

Thanks, but it didn't work for me. I tried to uninstall/reinstall also, but didn't work. I'm going to try installing on my desktop instead. I just prefer my laptop.

Hey All, I've gotten the game to launch for me again. I went to Computer > Local Disk > Users > [username] > AppData > LocalLow > Doppler Interactive > Cube and Star An Arbitrary Love and deleted the PlayerPrefs text document. Then launched the game. It starts you at the beginning, but up until this point I couldn't launch the game at all...so you know.

I'm having this problem but on a mac. deleting all fils i could find ad reinstalling didn't solve the problem. help?
