It's a Cube & Star Update! Special Edition, Optimizations and Love from me to you.
Oh my goodness, friends! It's been a turbulent few weeks.

In order of interest - going from most to least - the Steam edition of Cube & Star has now been "upgraded" to the Warped Edition.

Now you will be able to choose exactly _how_ you perceive the world of Cube & Star. They are simple changes, but your perspective fundamentally alters your perception of a world. An interesting thing indeed!

This was a little knee-jerk special edition I devised in the three hours before a bundle launched, and subsequently polished so it would be suitable for your refined palates.

I'm torn, personally - between the Spindle view and the Classic perspective view. Data view is for sociopaths. But I will let you all be the judge of that!

In less interesting news, I've made a few very subtle but enormous changes under the proverbial hood of the game. It will now run faster, more stable and more _powerfully_ than ever before.

So please, enjoy the update!

And as always - if you experience an issue, a bug, or a deep psychological yearning that you can't explain, email me at support@dopplerinteractive.com

-Joshua

P.S Oh - and I've enabled logging for this build (to help me debug). If you're the sort of person who like to look _behind the curtain_, you'll find a text file in the data directory of your game. Oooooh. Voyeuristic!

Damn, could you created this update a month ago)?

Anyway i think i will return to this game at a future point and i will enjoy, playing the circle mod.

One of the best games concepts i played for years, and yes iam old and i played a lot of games.

Keep up the great work_=)

@Grobalix Man... thanks so much for your kind words - but most of all, for your patience! It's been a huge experience for me.

Enormously eye-opening. I've got so much respect for the game devs here on Steam - updating and fielding bug reports and ... striving striving to that golden stability goal.

I'm so glad so many of you enjoyed the game. It makes all of the intense labor and meditation worth it.

@dwight schrute Man, since the demo was released (waaaaay back in time) the game has moved so far - and I just didn't have the bandwidth to keep them nicely aligned.

I figured... better to have no demo than to have one that poorly reflects the final game.
It's one of those down-sides to being a sole developer: you've got to really partition your time out and do the most with the least.

Controversial choice, though! I thought about it for sooooo long before deciding.

@Astrix I didn't even think of adding new screenshots for the Warped Edition. I should definitely do that. There is a small screenshot on the Store Page (under the reviews) - and I'll work on making some nice screenshots for you. Man. Didn't even occur to me!
